Where are you located?

Sunny Bolton, Greater Manchester. We are on Mornington road, opposite Morrisons.

Atlas Mill,

What do I get for the hire fee?

ALL rooms are included in the hire fee. We provide access to four distinct rooms, each with unique creative environments to be the canvas to your creativity.

Who can book the studio?

Atlas Studios welcomes amateur photographers, production companies, Music video's and commercial photographers alike.

Please note: We do not allow any adult material to be filmed or photographed here, so please do not be offended if we ask what the content of your shoot is. Unfortunately, this also covers Art-Nude imagery too.

What facilities are available onsite?

Yes, we offer excellent facilities alongside our versatile shooting spaces, including;

Male and Female toilets, including an easy access toilet.

Kitchen, with large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, we ask that should you require milk substitute to please bring this with you as we find that it creates more waste for us when the products are not used.

Is parking available?

Unfortunately the car park on site is privately owned and we only have access to it on the weekends.

Weekdays we have one space given to us for any vehicles which may require access. We have parking options nearby to make your visit hassle-free. All other vehicles are to be parked on Morrisons car park, your host will provide you with a pass to place on your dash to be read through your window.

Weekends we have the use of the full car park on most weekends.

Can we use Naked flame or pyrotechnics?

Unfortunately not.

The wooden floor is the original floor from its days as a cotton mill and it is seeped with Linseed oil. We cannot allow any direct heat, flame or sparks near it, for the obvious reasons of it being highly flammable.

What electrical points are available?

As can be seen by the floor plan, we have numerous electrical points located across the studios. These are all standard single phase electrical points, as you would find in a normal home situation.

The Stone Room only has one Electrical point within the room, however we provide all the extension cables you could possible require to ensure your shoot runs smoothly.
